Speaking Out

Here at Silentio, we're down with dissent, aren't we? I seem to remember typing that word at least a half-dozen time since I started this blog a few weeks ago. It is in this spirit that I read with interest John Snyder's defense of free music file-sharing online. This argument may seem rather tired now, because, well, it is, but what makes this article a bit different is that John Snyder is the president of Artist House Records, a 32-time Grammy award winner, and a board member of the National Association of Recording Arts. If his opinion isn't definitive, for you, me, or the industry as a whole, it is at least appreciated. Really worth reading if you're interested in the subject at all.
